Teaching philosophy
“I believe
the best way to achieve success…is by attention to detail and a commitment to the fundamentals – doing the ordinary things better than anyone else.” - Tony Dungy
“Tony Dungy sums up my approach to teaching golf; perfecting the fundamentals. Too many people believe that the newest method or in vogue swing philosophy is what they need to play better golf. This may work in the short term but it will inevitably fail without an adherence to the sound principles of the golf swing.”
“It takes a lot of unspectacular preparation to get spectacular results” – Roger Staubauch
When selecting a golf instructor it’s important to find out “who taught the teacher?”
Todd has been fortunate to work or learn from some of the best in golf; Rick McCord, Scott Munroe, Bob Toski, Dave Pelz and Jim Flick all recognized by GOLF Magazine as “Top 100 Instructors.”
Todd is a Level 2 Certified Golf Fitness Instructor through the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI). “TPI has taught me the importance of the body swing connection, recognizing swing faults that lead to injury and identifying a student’s physical limitation before implementing a swing change.”
